Covid-19 - health and safety updates

Cleaning and sanitation: The rooms, the air conditioning system and all common and work areas are sanitized by certified companies on a regular basis. Linens and towels may become contaminated, so the appropriate disinfectant is added when washing laundry. All common areas, public spaces, guest rooms, and the heart of the house are deep-cleaned and disinfected daily and whenever it is necessary. Special attention is be paid to all high-contact surfaces, such as door handles, elevator buttons, room keys, handrails, etc. Protective glass panels are installed at the reception/concierge desks.

Training: All the employees are trained to follow the government’s enhanced protocols, to identify any flu or virus-like symptoms and to apply the correct procedures. They continue to receive training on global standards of sanitation provided by certified third parties. The employees are closely monitored for any
symptoms, their temperature is taken on a daily basis, and are required to wear the appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment).

Guest relations and services: Guests and employees are instructed to practice social distancing. Antibacterial hand-sanitizing stations are placed throughout all areas of the hotel (front and heart of the house). Additionally, there are signs reminding everyone of the essential health and hygiene protocols, such as handwashing and social distancing. Mask and glove kits and sanitizing gel are available for guests and employees.

Dining: We continue to apply the internationally recognized methods of identifying and managing food safety related risks. This includes Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and strict global standards identified and requested by a qualified third-party. In-room dining takes place without physical contact and services such as buffets are eliminated. The capacity in our bars and restaurants is reduced to grant more safety distance for staff members and guests. There are electronic menus, accessible from tablets and mobile devices, or disposable printed menus.
